Kunai Cancelling
Starting off with an example.
Me and Sorlaize are ninjas. We have begun an epic battle and we are trying to kill eachother.
I throw a kunai. He throws one as well at the same time. They clash. 0 damage.
He throws a shuriken. I throw a Kunai. Kunai knocks shuriken out of the way for damage reduction. Just a regular Kunai would do 10 damage. But most of the force was taken by the Shuriken. 5 damage delt.
Say he throws a giant Shuriken. And I just happen to throw a kunai. Alone a giant shuriken would deal 30 damage. And would easily knock a kunai out of the way. After the deflection. 25 damage delt towards me.

Kunai/Weapon deflection is really realistic.
I hope my idea is put into the game.

well this is a good idea although the game is going to be an action mmorpg... where ppl would have to aim for each, so the chance of kunai's and throwing weapon to hit is very small yet possible, we'll have to keep this idea for later stages of the game

Most definitely later stages lol. The idea of this is good though. As Rave says though, it's kinda gonna be an aiming system for throwing stuff so yeah, but it is quite possible to hit a kunai and a kunai if you're fast enough and efficient in throwing.

I think It wont work because if you see the video on youtube, you throw the kunai very, very fast.

Yeah but we can always make them thrown at the same height, or like, make the collision boxes bigger.

kunai deflect
well, if this does happen, what about if somebody throws a shuriken or kunai at you, and u deflect it with your own kunai that your holding in your hand.
For example: somebody throws a shuriken at you, and you just happen to be holding a kunai. the shuriken is close. You press a key, and your guy raises his hand and deflects with kunai.
Would that work out?

wait, i dont even think the shurikens or kunai will EVEN clash, they are only modds and unless allowed to be clashed (which would put alot of stress on servers , coz each weapon (of thousands) will have their own script.
i pretty sure that claa clashing will be impossible coz they will just past each other. but this is my view from other games. and i dont know the physics of this game engine.
