Weather Effects?
Jutsus that effects the weather for example Sasuke Creates a grand firball and explodes them in the sky this creates heat which inturn creates a high pressure system creating lighting storm (Heat lightning) then uses the heat lightning to increase his Chadori surge by almost 10 fold by using a natutal element.
Jutsus using bloodlines like combinding water and water element which creates clouds and the ability to alter the weather
How the weather effects the land scape and slowing down nin
I dont know just some ideas to think about

Interesting idea. I'm not sure about weather changing but weathering effects like reshaping the terrain are possible. This could be done in a tactical way to slow down approaching enemies, sure. You could cut down trees very fast with Chidori or something, that would be nice.

Most definitely.

Hmm...about the terrain shaping...when someone changes his battlefield...will it come back to normal?. Because a 9 years kid might be making large craters everywhere in the game and we couldn't change it :S.

Yes, but with large map, it would be difficult to make every square inch affectable and destroyable. Unless we copy and paste same terrain, just add objets on top of it.
But we want to have diffrent elevation, so thats why we would have to work on each area seperately(in theory).
tress, rocks, we could just copy and paste over the map, so we would not have to work on every single rock or tree.
---------
Of course, we will need to experiment with physics how that works, maybe theres an easier way to do this. But for no, we need to focus on clan development.
But jutsus that affect weather. Sure if you do water wall, some one blasts it, and it starts raining for couple of seconds in that area. But anything more than that, NO.

I think we should make the terrain go back to normal slowly. So that it's not noticable, but it does gradually change. Your chakra / stamina amounts should prevent you from causing too much damage anyway, and you'll need to save it for fighting
We're working on the integration of physics with the existing dynamic (moveable) terrain
If you're talking about level design, we'll probably write code to make the rocks and grass patches in certain patterns so that it looks natural. There will be manual editing though. Village buildings layout for example.

Re: Weather Effects?
How about it can slowly go back but the user can also release the element change For example Yamato 's wood clone poped(Disapeared) simular to a shadowclone when Yamato got shanked by Sasuke's Chakra Blade (With lighing element) or when Yamato creates a wooden boundy he can make it go back into the earth on command. Changing the Terrain back to normal on command might be a very tactical move on the nin's part
Ok this is another reason i posted this Topic for weather if it rains out a water element user can call upon the natural element for his jutsu. this Could go for Wind and Lightning aswell and being able to manipulate the atmosphere to create a say lightning strom like Sasuke did with the Grand Fireballs to create heatlightning(Low Pressure System) to use the Natural element to increase his attacks power and speed of Chadori(Rikki). I feel this is very important to higher Ranking Ninja who need every advantage to win a s-rank battle

Re: Weather Effects?
I totally agree with Sithex on this topic. It's a great idea and I think completely possible. It would give the ninja's a very good reserve, so once they are almost out of energy they could use the weather as a weapon per say (if it's their element of course).

Re: Weather Effects?
just wondering, would this be global? as in will other players see it too?
because if thats true, then lag will follow. alot of lag. mabey enough for server disconnects

Re: Weather Effects?
It would only grab a bit of the environment, not the whole thing. I expect we will be programming weather effects anywho.

Re: Weather Effects?
ye we will be coding that, but not in a way that if they use fire jutsu's in sky that the weather would change...
and it wouldn't lag lol, only ppl near the area would see it

Re: Weather Effects?
if one person uses it, then it wont lag OBVIOUSLY, but when 10 people in the same area use it. it will start bugging and lagging the server
