Gates (Portal) to Another Place

Well I don't know if we already talked about that but, Here it is ,

So I was thinking "going to another country or village might be a long time of traveling", So if we make some Portal traveling would be easy for Ninjas. e.g You get out of the Konoha area and at certain areas of the map there will be portals where these could bring you to: Suna's area, Misu's area, etc. Just to make shortcuts

I don't like the ideia! Ok, Ninjas, using jutsus like, Katon, is kind fantasy, but has the trick! But I think the game need be realistic, and portals, are kind, more than fantasy you know... Maybe, he can have a oracle or something, and you can talk to him, he use ay jutsu and you are in the place you want!

I think I discussed with someone about using bird summons to travel; you could have summoning scrolls to write on (this might be only for certain teams though, ones that have bird summoning contracts) or you could do this with any other summon like a very large frog, in the anime (Naruto vs Gaara if I remember right) it shows you can hop along great distances with large frogs.

Or for convenience you could have bird rental points, where you pay a civilian (bird keeper or something maybe) who lets you borrow one for a set time...

Yea when you rent a bird and the time's up. He will fly back So we have a cool looking busy sky

The Fourth Hokage was well known for his ability to transport himself across distances using his shiki (rites). This gave rise to his nick name "Konoha's Yellow Flash." Upon placing his rite upon an object he could summon his body to that location. This unique ability allowed him to go to a location without being called upon by someone else. He used this ability to also place his rite on a kunai he gave as a gift to Kakashi. When the kunai was thrown, he would recognize he was needed and instantly travel to that location.

Hiraishin no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique utilized by the Fourth Hokage. The technique gave Yondaime his nickname "Konoha's Yellow Flash," due to his bright yellow hair and his ability to traverse great distances in the blink of an eye. A space-time jutsu like Kuchiyose, Yondaime first needs to mark his destination with a shiki (rite) first, he can then activate the jutsu to come to the mark. He can apply this to a weapon such as a kunai, and when thrown or used, he can instantly travel to it. He can also apply the mark to a touched area, such as his opponent or some other surrounding feature. No matter where the opponent goes, Yondaime can travel to the mark to kill them.)

Genin who managed to collect both the Heaven and Earth scrolls in the Chuunin Exam were to open them after making it to the central tower. A Chuunin Examiner was then be summoned to congratulate the Genin. However, if the Genin opened the scrolls before reaching the tower, they would be knocked unconscious and eliminated from the exam. Iruka went on to explain how the "Heaven" scroll represented the mind, and the "Earth" the body. By knowing ones strengths and weaknesses they can train and improve. These qualities help one grow stronger and wiser and thus worthy of becoming a Chuunin.

Team Oboro used a summoning scroll to transport its team members across large distances. After forming the needed hand seals, the team member will slap their palm against the "person" kanji on the scroll to summon the teammate to their location."

These are good things, yet still... these are kage level abilities. Or S-rank at the least. The fourth was unique, there was nobody like him. There is bound to be some that could use this ability. Perhaps when you become kage you could transport at the speed of light, with added training of course. As for the lower levels (almost everyone) we will have to have them use birds (that could be accessed from their own village), and you can use them for 20 minutes or so, and when your 20 minutes is up if you are still flying, you will automatically land and your bird will fly back or disappear.

There would have to be a downside to this like taking a bird to transport would make you in some words damn lazy. Ive only seen a bird transport a person once and it was a filler(garbage) episode. And it was a summmoning technique if your a ninja you should have to take the risk of runing into one another or it would be pointless. Sure if your S rank you could transport your body by other meens but you desirve a brake if your S rank who wants a hudred chunins running into you trying to challenge you and all you need to do is flick them away. It would get tedious and annoying. Point im trying to prove is an easy way of transporting you should take the time and effort and increase your experiance by moving around by foot how do you expect to gain experiance by dodging everyone to even make it to s- rank abilities.

flying has been used in a couple games alwready, e.g. flyff (fly for fun), DOMO (dream of mirror online) etc. its very popular, because it stop people from getting frustrated at taking too much of their time in walking to another location.

we could have ports and or a magician in town that give you a jump boost (that you can only use outside of town) for a limited time e.g. your in your village and you want to dual a friend in the sound village but it takes alot of time to get there, so you talk to an npc in you village and he grants you that boost in return for some currency, then depending on how much currency you give him, the longer you will have the boost (1000 currency [y] = 5min boost [x] {default option is y=5x) and currency that is higher than the 1000 default will have this formulae [formulae: y x 1.5=5x] , then you get over there faster (btw: there wont be any magicians in the battle field (we could call this terrain "ina hito rikujou" im not an expert but i looked up a japanese dictionary for this word saying, no man land.

though i would like the jumping better so i dont have any ideas on flying but if you want flying then provide your ideas. however i dont recommend it in a ninja game where you would usually jump with [spacebar].

I think that's a good idea, but i also think that you should be able to jump directly to where your friend is for free, it would take away a LOT of frustration.

I'm sure that we are implementing the mass jump in the game, which almost any ninja can do. And for the flying idea, I think that someone said that you could lend from an NPC for a bird, and like if you want it for 1h: its like 500 ryo, 5h: 2,500 ryo, 24h: 12,000 ryo. So that are examples, because it will frustrate me too >.>
