Heirlooms (Limitations) Empty Heirlooms (Limitations)

In the RP world of naruto i have ran into people creating heirlooms for those who dont know what it is it is an object passed down from the family or person that is not only senimental but has legandary or exponential abbilities.
But hee comes the big problem some heirlooms have abilitties with retarded limits such as a Chakra absorbing abilities.
So i decided ideas are nessasare about heirlooms and their abilities
What can be a heirloom, for example a Chakra Blade like Asuma Seritobi's knuckle blades or even the First Hokages Neckliace
Another Problem I figure is how are you to create such a Heirloom is it Passed down by a teacher or one of your other characters (if you can create more then one character that is)
I'm sure more issues and ideas will arrise so lets stir the bowl and get the ideas rollin Cool

Items can do nice things yeah, but mainly (nearly always) in games these effects are temporary. The Naruto anime/manga doesn't have these 'heirlooms' so we won't include them. I don't think players would pass items around anyway. Razz

Not entirely true Sor. Sithex has a major heirloom that he mentioned, the first hokage's necklace. It allows for someone with the ability to control someone with the kyuubi spirit in them. Naruto for instance can be controlled (the kyuubi's chakra that is) from getting out of hand when he is training.

aswell in the filler Asuma gives Sora a 3 Chakra Bladed hand weapon because of Sora having a close ability with wind chakra just a point not to step on toes bro your guys are making the imposible posilbe so get - r - done Cool Cool

well, you can make the heirlooms less valuable. YES thats right, less valuable. dont put any life abosorbtion coz it will ruin the potion usage system and it will , in my words. fuck up the game. instead, put something liek 10% increased speen or atk or +5 dodge, items can also have multiple stats, and stats can be added randomly over time e.g. after keeping it for a fornight, it will get a +2 str and when it is passed down, it will lose all added stats but maintain original (so after 1 year of the game (items wont be imbalanced like +1000 str or etc. this means that players will likely pass it along rather keep it for them selves.

also we must avoid a too high dodge ability, becuz some of the games i played, at highest levels, Archers could barely hit knights becuz of their armor combined with some dodge ... which makes archers completly useless, so we need to make exact calculations to avoid this stuff Wink

by Heirlooms are passed down from Teacher or Family to Student. It could be like Asuma handing one of his students his knuckle knifes which is a chakra blade so they could practice manipulating thyre chakra element through the blade. It might be too pricey to pick them up at a store being a genin or chuunin but for a well paid teacher to him passing it down can go to good use and the survival odf the team.

Heirlooms dont have to be just weapons it could be a Summoning contract, a unique or forbidin Jutsu

And Rave i do have to agree with you about the Charmed objects being a hassle i say avoid charmed objects with the exception of the sword of the sky and weapons already in the show.
