Very nice but I do think for now we should avoid using Naruto images and use some of our original concepts

And yeah for the moment, until we have a robust engine we can't label it with "Naruto" at all. Also it's not Rave we're very thankful to, but TheYellowFlash1234, for all the Naruto anime episodes he uploaded to YouTube before YouTube was sued and they took them all down.

I really like the style you use there. But the text needs to be clearer.

anway, so what your saying, is that this game isnt gonna be called naruto for copyright issues.
but im assuming, once you get permission from kishimoto, you can?

Most definitely conradxu. Yet.. it is... IF we get permission. We have to show them we can do something amazing and worthy of the name Naruto.

Also... I really like the banner lol. Much more suited to the forums than the one we have now.

well, you could always say that this community will form interest to many players and viewers to the naruto manga (of spice it up e.g. to spread the legend of naruto manga)
pros
- more people to buy his naruto manga (benefit his business)
- any other pros

but...BUT!!!
i may be wrong. this could have the opposite reaction to kishimoto.
he would probrably ask for payment or he wont give us permission. as in the pro's it talks about income.

just saying: you dont have to use what i said. I MAY BE WRONG, AND I DONT WANT TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE IF THE FORUM HAS TO MAKE SOME MAJOR CHANGES SO IT DOESNT RELATE TO NARUTO

Lol. You are right there. But don't worry, I have a plan

For now though we're at very early development stages..so we want to avoid being shut down. After we're at a certain point (where it's actually online and we have items and stuff in the game) we'll add Naruto themed features and pitch our game to Kishimoto.

Btw the banner we've currently got is just from a forum skin.

But to get to that point there will obviously be obstacles and things that we must do in a certain way for our project to be seen in the best light possible. For example we will expand upon the opensource XHk project which is the Havok physics wrapper we're using for physics.

So yeah, on this note of copyright infringement...we'll also have to rename the forum shortly [so the URL will be different.] Any ideas?

and i dont think any thanks are needed at all for now :p im sure YellowFlash is a cool guy for uploading all of em... but there's tons of ppl doing it anyways
