I found this site, looks like they've been going longer than us... but from what I've seen, it doesn't look like they're going anywhere fast

I know they may have similar ideas to us, so I can't stress enough that you can't steal ideas from these guys.

But maybe we can join forces, or get their modellers to do work for us for now & make some sort of deal.

I think our project has much more potential; it's just going to take longer to program stuff because we're writing an engine from scratch. But hey, you guys have me

true i've seen their sasuke naruto mmos they got good graphics but they dont compare to the many additions we will add to this project

i was thinking the same thing like search naruto mmorpg eventually you'll find a teaser vid for a mmo they got good graphics and all but they use non custom chars and there can be too many players for the chars to handle site www.ninjachronicles.com

I've seen this game before.
They dint make the engine, they just made couple of models.

yes, that is a half life modification, that will not be an mmo, u wont be able to get more then 30 maybe a heavy server 60 ppl on.
and if they were smart, they coulda done it on HL2 engine, would have been a lot better but ohwell, they still got some good modellers and animators tho ^^

tbh id give them 6.5\10.

we shouldnt be comparing yet, once the cb is out, and theirs is out. then we should compare. i dont think the coders over there are noob, they could be pro, and they arnt showing it out yet.

Most definitely. Even so, until closed beta is out for us... we won't really have anything to show and if they want to join then... then they can and would be the best time to do so I think.

Not very far I like NWoF's 3d content. But we are making this with c# and Havok so we'll be releasing stuff fast once we get the ball rolling.

Hey. I'm sorry to hear it's on hold. Thinking about my original post..it would be really good to pool our efforts together. Maybe I could talk with your team's coder? We've already been in talks with the HL mod team (but their progress has slowed..), and had a BYOND team join us.

I think in the coming months when our programmers have something to show [we're making a generic ninja game for now, and plan to get official copyright permissions] we'll push out some advertising / Youtube and make efforts to recruit modellers / coders.
