Chuunin Exam

how are we goin to do the Chuunin... I think we should do it like the anime, u can cheat but if you get cault then your out, and we'll have REAL people in ther watching, like reall GMs and how for the 10th questoin maybe have one of the MGMs come up and ask the questoin, it can be any question they want, and they can make it like the guy in the anime does or w/e, but then onces they pass/fail the Death Forest(r w/e it's called ^^; ) we ganna split it up and what not? give one group a earth scroll and one the heaven, and maybe place some out in the woods somewhere? make it if they read it they pass out/return to spawn? then when they do get in the place they open the scrolls and it summons a GM? that tells them what to do next, then the fighting =D, WE the GMs will pick who fights who, no unfair pairs >,> *looks at takashi* j/k, but yeah then even if they lose we'll look at how they fault and how they handled there selfs, and pick if they have what it takes to be chuunin? =D

I don't see where the chuunins couldn't be like the anime/manga, other than the first test. I think it should be based on ACTUAL knowledge, rather than "if you fail this test you will never be able to take it again", and then if you stay you pass lol. This will filter alot of people out, seeing as this will be like one of the big events. So this won't be happening every day or anything, there will be alot of people wanting to do this. After the second exam we should have preliminaries IF there is more than 20 people still left. Then maybe hold the actual third exam a week later or so, so they can work on new jutsu.. yet that might be too taxing for some people.

yeah good point ^^;;; as for the second test...that will take out A LOT of peole i mean wiff the big snakes and bugs and then the other players tryin to kill each other, but yeah to be safe 20 people, but maybe a little more or less ^^; idk about a week that is a long time ^^; maybe a day or two

That's true but it's acceptable that we need to hold it regular enough for the number of players. How many Naruto characters were in the exam? Out of all the countries? What was the average supposed to be?

We can probably calculate how often it's needed by doing this. Obviously we'll need to control levelling so that we don't have uneven influxes of exam candidates.

Maybe once you hit like lvl 15 then you cant level up or gain experience until you pass the Chuunin exam?

The problem with the level cap Takashi is the fact that we want the players to be more... hmm how to say unique? I don't think a level cap will do this very well. I think a level cap at the highest rank is necessary, but I mean for Genin I don't think so. Truthfully, Naruto is still as Genin and he's stronger than a Jounin, and so is Sasuke. I think it should be harder to gain exp after a certain level, until you pass the chuunin exam and then you have more quests and missions to do and the exp rate raises. This way the player isn't bound so much by a rank. Not everyone that attempts the Chuunin exam is gonna pass... especially in the forest of death. So that would cause them to stop playing if they couldn't get stronger until they were chuunin.

honstly i think we should make the forset of death hella hard..just like in the anime/manga we should also maybe do a random thing where there will be sound ninjas in there and Oro so that there is a posiably of you gettin bit...but lets do it like if a 3 man cell aportes him and ones uchiha that he goes for the uchiha, but if there isn't one he goes for the strongest? howz that sound?

Well that comes back to the time line that we are in. We are focusing on Shippuden and not just Naruto. The fact remains, Orochimaru already has an Uchiha at his disposal, and if he doesn't.. well he's dead anyways lol. Yet, I believe the missing nin should get the opportunity to get the cursed seal, as they will be able to go out and hunt down Orochimaru and try to get under his teachings. This could always turn bad and Orochimaru attacks you, and if he is defeated you can either learn from him or Sasuke will train you. Just a thought but I think the cursed seal shouldn't be thrown around lightly.

agreed, b/c NeWbs get CS and they think it's the shit..really CS is good, but like i've said before there are better reason for join Sound i am and have always been a strong believer in this..just ask Takashi, but yes agreed on the CS part, as for followin the suppudenn(sp?) as far as i know Oro is dead, he tried to take of Sasuke and lost r sumin like that..so make Sasuke the NEW Oro, and make it him thats lookin for new requits in the Chuunin, but only random, not ever one doe, yah know?

Broadly speaking, we're not going to do anything that hasn't been done in the anime/manga.

Of course we have to allow some room here for things like countries even the manga hasn't specified. But, we won't do something like try to predict the way the story is going. I think that will harm the game and will only lead us nearer to infringing Intellectual Property law. It might be a good idea but we're just not allowed to do that with the characters.

Which was my point. We can't predict, so we might as well start at the beginning of shippuden and use our own story.

Yeah I would be MORE than happy to sit down and type the entire storyline for you guys.

Just give me some ideas on how its gonna go and stuff.. I am a fast typer and I can make kind of a slide show with it. So when people make a new game it tells them the storyline..Or I can use my headset and use a professional voice to actually TELL the storyline with the words showin in a slideshow.

Well we need a storyline no matter what. Yet it has to do with more of the 'players' and stuff rather than actual characters of the Naruto anime/manga.

Why not just add quest instead of story line, because maybe one player is at shippuden and the other still at the beggining, and if the area changes the person that is on shippuden will be alone cuz of rest will be in regular 0_0. so, yeah

I think you should use quests like: A quest is a mission. So maby get sasuke back because he is with Orochimaru and then Yamato, Sakura and Naruto will follow and help you. ( No Sai You will replace him xD )

See, if we were gonna use that it would be a definite S-rank MISSION!!! Quests will be given from NPC's around villages, where Missions will be given by your Kage and others in power. The mission is decent BUT come to think of it, I don't think you'll be worrying about Sasuke when you have 200 ninjas coming to destroy your village xD.
