Monuments
i was thinking of HUGE monuments, e.g. a dragon fighting a HUGE fish, then people could just walk up a stair case to the dragon or fish's head, it would look cool, plus you could use it as an arieal map. also it would give alot fo attraction to the game, because not all gamers want to kill stuff, they like to see the game engine and effort in which the GM provide, (i do both)

Yea very true. We can also have natural features like lakes / rivers / waterfalls... it's endless.

its fantasy in the mind, but the trouble is pulling it out and laying it out in maya...

Nope, we're not limited to maya, and who says that all animation will be baked?
Adding new technical functionality is what I'll spend my time doing

I think that new engine you are building will do wonders animation and physics vise :DDDDDD
