Question about game quality...

Maybe
for some more important objects, but if you do an attack that knows
like 50 things around with physics then people playing would need a
damn good comp
That's the point of using the physics
engine used for commercial games. You just need a ~1.5Ghz dual core
processor and a decent graphics card capable of shader model 3.0
(they're becoming even cheaper now..) to run the game. With
multithreading (this is where us l33t coders come in) we can achieve
very good performance (look for Havok on Youtube) with lots of detail that current MMOs lack.
Is this already implemented into the game? where it's set in stone that we WILL need shader model 3.0 to play? Will there be any way around it like an option to turn all the physics and whatever off (I have no idea what i'm talking about)...In other words will there be ANY way around this...Or possibly a change in the game development where it wont be necessary? This has been really eating me up lately and I'm kinda discouraged (There isn't the slightest possibility of me getting a new comp or a new card thingy)

I PM'd Rave about it he hasn't responded yet. Hopefully something can be done about it ..I'm not saying lower the quality of the whole game just for me (As if that could happen) But just asking whether it's possible or not for an option to tone the graphics down before I launch the game to be added (When it comes out).

No.
The bottom line is, if we want it to be professional quality or as near as, you'll at least need fairly recent hardware. I really don't think that's too much to ask.
There will probably be customizable detail levels, and I'll make sure there's help for choosing the right graphics hardware and so on when there is a beta out.
Re: Question about game quality...
More then 60% of people have high end machines and another 20% have the bare minimum requirements and in another 2-6 years everyone will be able to play your game.(development of an mmorpg takes 2-4 years) Thats based on what I am guessing the requirements will be.

I think we should focus on 512ram(of course 1k+ram would run flawlessly like in all games) .(not everyone has 3k ram pcs)
for graphics card, i have no idea, because I dont know what we going to do with texturing...
and for craphics card,

I dont play alot of MMORPG's but the ones I have played are Perfect World, Gunz, and WarRock. Perfect World has pretty good graphics(i think). So can someone tell me if what I posted is "high end" or not?

That's right, you have no idea.
How many games (commercially available) have you shipped?
The standard allocation of RAM for Vista is now 1gb. Not 512mb. That should indicate that a graphics-heavy game will need the same or more. As I said earlier in this thread, and in the quoted post from the first post in this thread, the game will not be resource hungry:

But we're not aiming the game at whatever specific pc you bought. I'm not interested. I have a 2gb RAM laptop, and the graphics card handles Vista and the game fine. It's a Geforce 8400 m. You can buy better (for a desktop pc) for around $200.
Don't complain about how your parents won't buy you a new pc or upgrades. It's not the concern of any big games company, in the same way that no-one wants the graphics of an entire game to be low quality because some young players can't afford the hardware.
And if you want to complain about the beta not being here...save up some money
