How about you make it where Akutsuki are NPC's...But if you defeat one of them they will pretty much be at your disposal, kinda like a summon. You can call them when your in a tight spot and they'll do like one uber move just to buy you some time...then they disappear. Of course it will be super hard to kill one maybe there could be a limit. But thats my idea for joining Akatsuki, you wont actually be IN the group but just have something not alot of people have.

i meant in a way like Obito did (if you watch the anime you could see that he was a student of Zetsu!!!)

THERE is benefits in letting Akatsuki being Players, I see no reason making them NPCs

if you dont please read my first post in this topic and if players were akatsuki:
three players decide to kill lets say the guy in place of Itachi(one of them kills him and he becomes 1of the akatsuki)there would be no freedom at all i mean CMON what good is it to get into the akatsuki if you have to hide all the time
wouldn't it be stupid if lets say you finally get Kisame's sword and somebody kills you when you are vulnurable(soz for misspell)and then you would be like 30 second akatsuki member???and you lose the sword!?!?!
that is just too much!!!
and what will happen if they don't play no akatsuki raids on villages!!!so it would be cool if there are NPC's but you could still join like Obito in manga and anime

and i wanted to add something so here goes: lets say if some1 is in akatsuki and he quits would he still be in anbu's bingo book as a target?because he commited a crime and never paid for it!!!

i mean like you just click on Naruto and there you have it a Naruto looking guy!!

Lol...Funny guy I see...But that would be better than just having them sit around, I haven't really read through this topic nor do I plan to but according to what I've seen all their gonna do is stand around and fight AGAINST players, we should be able to fight with them in some way.

Good idea about customization presets. We could have that, yeah

Personally I think it would just be a lot more fun if Akatsuki was made of NPC's..you can always team on them and get some kind of prize (their equipment ?) but it would be extremely difficult to beat them, and they're always in teams of 2, using their skills effectively with each other meaning you have to actually be good at playing the game and need to be extremely good at teaming up with your friends / teammates.

In addition they'd be something everyone is scared of, because like I said they'll be 24/7 killing machines, better than a pro gamer because of being on all the time and not needing much rest. When they wander around randomly you'd have to run for your life.. it again adds something to the PvP gameplay because it's unlike other games where if you've got a high level you can just run around as you like.

Akatsuki would stop even the best players from running around, even in teams, pk'ing for fun

I was thinking a bit about this topic and then i came up with this idea:
If there are like academy student,genin,chuunin,jounin,stages then there should be like special stages like ANBU and special class assasin ninja(can't remember the name)...
...so back to the point then i think there should be like D,C,B,A,S rank criminals and at the S stage there should be a special like Akatsuki


i was thinking if it works like this:
GOOD:normal mission,normal,normal,special(available if you want to get rid of bad respect and gain double good respect)

lets say that you can receive respect in good and it won't affect the bad respect bar

BAD:same as good but opposite

if you can't decide there should also be Neutral:headhunters ,bounty hunters but you could always take a bounty hunter mission if you are an anbu, genin, Akatsuki, or anything else!!!

READ THIS EDIT PLEASE:if you played wow or just heard about it you know there is Horde and Alliance so you could make Criminals and Shinobi and then in each there should be like more clans(races in WoW) each with different ability or you could make an in game path choosing or to make it like i suggested so you could be a criminal shinobi also!!!!!!!!!!!!!

will there be team duels or just single duels because it would be cool to find a friend and make your skills match so if he attacks with a strong attack and he is left in a vulnerable state (position whatever) it would be cool if they try to attack him that i could just like use rotation to shield him or something

Base on what we Sorlaize and I talked about they will be a very smart AI and even a pro won't be able to defeat them. Only team work will give the possibility to defeat them.

lol yea i love Naruto anime,manga,games,etc. and akatsuki are the 1s that are the best in all of those so i think that this is gonna be a really important part in this game!!!

Hmm, I think that this has been discussed in a different thread, and we shouldn't go that far offtopic, but to awnser your question of secret hideouts, we could use barrier techniques, where you have to enter a hand seal or something, and that allows you to walk into a "portal like" looking thing, that will take you to your secret base. The portal thing is like the orignal GTA style(we talked about this in a different topic) where everyone roams the villages and streets, but you when you enter your rooms, its like entering a new level. get what im saying? - hideouts have been talked about in a different topic....

- Creating new organisations - great idea but i think their should be some kind of limits - not anyone can create a new organisation - certain requirments

and a new thought:
- Instead of being 1 of the main members maybe a player could be a subordinate of one of the main members, they would have to prove theirselves worthy to work for Akatski. Of course every main character of Akatski could only have a certain number of "students" (slaves ). At the beginning there would be "try outs" - survive 3 minutes in a battle with that character, or take 50% of his health (something like that). After that the players that passed the test would compete with eachother to see who gets the spot. This would be for the start when no one has joined yet. after this it would be similuar - fight the character (survive 3 min, blah blah blah) than fight a student of that character to take his spot. These tryonuts would be for example once a week (everytime different time and place - other quests/ missions will give info when and where). The current students would have to come to the try outs at least once every 2/3 weeks (otherwise they would just avoid them and stay forever, they dont have to come always cuz there will be other things to do than play this awsome game ).

So players will be able to "join" akatski but not really be a hard core ninja like the main characters. So after you pass the tests and you become a "student" you will take orders (missions) only from your new master. Of course as a reward they could teach you a forbidden jutsu or just give you cash or special items (not too good stuff becasue that would unbalance the game).


The new subordinates needed in Akatski could be explained by a massive growth of other rival organisations. So Akatski needs new forces to fight the smaller fights - because the main characters aren't going to waste time on just any noob .

i already suggested that and there is another topic in that clearly says that akatsuki will be players 5 chosen 1s and then they will choose others!!!
