Creating a clan

I think you should be able to make a clan,like how you make a Guild or a Legion in certain games.Then you can have alliances,enemys,and perks from being in a top clan,like say you are in the rank 1 clan,you get extra yen per kill,a free chakra wepopn(if that suggestion works) or something like that.

Most definitely. Can you think of a nice fancy word for this though? Clan is specifically clans in naruto lol. So we need something else.

I'll just throw down a few random ideas I just came up with:

Company (ie. military style [5th Company])
Band
Brotherhood
Sect
Alliance
Faction
League
Society
Union

Those are really random ones, some of which I like and other I don't. You can tell me what you guys think.

I believe 'Army' is somewhere near what they used in ancient times (in Japan). Also they mentioned ninja armies in the recent manga.

Depends how big they will be.

I think a problem we've got right here is that a lot of the names we are coming up with sounds like sides in a war instead of subgroups inside of a village. Just as an example, to use one of mine, a league sounds like a very large thing instead of a small group of people.

Well I think that the "Guilds" should be outside of the Village. Because we already have Clans in Villages...What I mean is that these should only be used outside of the Villages when you're an outlaw or missing-nin.

It could work but then again, it should be inside the village as well so you can talk to the people you have grown fond of (friends) all at the same time in one place. Yet I think guilds should be limited to a certain amount of players.

Well if we make it in Villages too, wouldn't that make a little bit too much "teams". e.g: We have Team, Clan. And imagine the Chat box, you'll have Village; Team; Clan; Lover (or Fiancee); Whisper.
And we haven't got lots of unique options for the outlaws...so making 'Guilds" only for them might be okay.

Lol. Well think of it like this, you go into a village in other mmo's. You have the village talking, the guild talking to ya and you got whispers going on (if you are popular that is). You can keep up with all this, their is an idea I have for 'outlaws' that will make them happy anywho. Something normal shinobi can't get. It will all be balanced out.
