MASTER POST - EVERYTHING (someone needs to lay down the plan ^.^ )
This is basically everything I got all in 1 thread. Some of the info goes in other threads, but I wanted to put all of it together...
Note: many of these ideas may have been said but im too lazy to pick out the stuff that was already stated.

1. Starting The Game / Character Making
So when you start the game and create a character, there will be a country option :
Example:
Please Choose your Country:
Bear | Bird | Claw |Demon | Earth | Fang
| Fire | Forest Grass | Honey | Lightning | Marsh | Moon
| Mountain | Neck | Red Bean | Rice Field | River | Sea | Snow | Stone | Swamp | Tea Valley | Vegetable | Water | Waterfall | Wave | Whirlpool | Wind

After the country is chosen, depending on a country, you will be able to choose from one of the hidden villages (if there are any in the chosen country)
After your country is chosen, you will be able to make a character, customizing it to fit your likes. Every character that starts has the same Basic garmet as the rest of the people in your country (if your from stone country you have different garm as the sea country ect.)

2. Gameplay
Deciding the gameplay is pretty difficult, but I have a very good system =D.
So basically when your character starts off, it has no skills. To get certain Jutsus, you will have to travel to the country where the jutsus originated from and learn them. each country has over 15 known jutsus and many secret ones learned from quests, giving around 500-700 jutsus, more added as the game is updated - making everyones powers unique.
pricing/ leveling up.
In each country, there will be 2 major cities. when a character is made, they will start out in one of the major cities of their country. each country will have its own wepon system, giving thousands of available wepons for a player to use in their travels. Also, each country will have their own "good" (i.e tea - tea valley, roman noodles ^.^ - fire country (leaf village) ect.) Npcs will pay players to deliver goods from country to country, giving players a stable income. Players can also make money from killing monsters.
for leveling up- the monsters will increase in level as you get further away from cities. there will be no "sp" points in this game - as they are not needed, monsters will just give xp points. without any learned jutsu, the only way to attack is with a wepon bought from a npc in a city. HP affects your strenth, and MP affects your jutsu/chakara. Every time you level up, you are given points that you can use to increase eather your hp or your mp. (strong hp means strong with wepons, but weak in chakara and jutsus, ect) just like in any game, you will have a bar showing how far you are until the next level.
Pvping is a very complicated issue because it can ruin a game, or make a game - so heres my system. the cities are obviously a safe zone for pvping.. when you are out of a city, you can select a person, and choose to "challenge" them. If they accept the challenge, a window will come up, letting you specify how many people, and who is allowed to come into the pvp. (this prevents surprise attacks while pvping).
Pking- for pking, you want pking to be a experiance that penalizes the attacker. so, when someone attacks a person without challenging them, they will be in PK MODE which is a continuous xp drain until you are out of pk mode. to get out, you must die, or wait until pk mode runs out.
Death (Complicated) - Death is a hard subject because in some games its not a big deal - a mild inconvenience, but it could also be a big deal (perma death). My put on this subject is just to loose xp and respawn themselves, or have someone with the right jutsu ressurect them. Also, players could have an option to res themselves, but if you res yourself, you will only get 20% of monsters xp when you kill them for 1 day.
So thats everything i got - besides my "balancing the game" post which will be even more reading then this 1. =]

If you want to help the game team, help me. Search for PICTURES OF: Japanese weapons,clothes,ninja tools, ninja traditions,clothes,accessories,trees,rocks,nature and post them on the forum.
try to find BluePrints for these things, Because that would make my job modeling a lot easier.

Swamq, welcome to the forum. You've got some very nice ideas there, but we need to keep the forum organized properly. There will be a time for collecting the concrete, definate points on certain aspects of the game like clans and the battle system, but for now could you please repost your individual ideas in the appropriate threads. Please read the older threads as when a related new thread is made it will just be merged with the old thread.
