6 ideas in one post!
Ok For idea 1: I think that the game should have damage based on weapopn durability. Say like you have a sword that does 100-200 Damage at 100% durability,and as the durability gets lower,you can physically see the blade getting dull,and it will do less damage..
Idea 2: Ok this one is linked to idea one,I think that when the weapon (in this case a bladed weapon) hits 0% durability,there should a damage ratio on the description of the blade that tells you how much damage your blade can take until it shatters into a billion pieces XD.
Idea 3:Ok this one may be a little harder to do, but i think that players should be able to open their own little stores.For a certain amount of Yen an hour(Bassically it is pedling) Or they can pay a Tier and keep the store forever unless they want to sell it. In the store the users would be able to sell items they have uptained from killing monsters,or that they have modeled,uploaded,and coded themselves somehow.
Idea 4: I think that players should be able to catch and get pets (ok if anyone says this is related to pokemon...) Like how on the latest english episode of the american Naruto how he had got the Onbaa,or maybe you can get a dog like Akamaru and customise the color and look of him. Oh you can just get like random pets from a pet shop,and as they grow their strength begins to come and they can help you in battle. And if you get a ridable animal (like a grown up dog) Then you can ride it for better speed than just walking.
(Sorry if number 5 or six has been stolen from someone,I didn't mean to,i just had the thoughts and uploaded them before i forgot)
Idea 5: Maybe you can get your own summoning pet,that can 1 help you in battle,and 2 u can ride it to different places,like say a certain type of pet can let u go places.Say if you have a snake then you could do under-ground attacks,techniques,and just like travel underground.
And last:
Idea 6: I think that you should be able to coose at the begining what kind of Weapon you want to be a master of.Like:
Shuriken,Kunai,Your own hands,Demon Wind Shuriken,Clones,or (Like Sai) a Pen.

Edit: I said the BLADE would be destroyed,not the whole weapon.In the character concept post,I remember reading that blades were attachable to a staff(or at least it was an idea

Hmm...Durability makes Me Think of World Of Kung-Fu (for those who are familiar). Personally I think weapon should not have a durability O.o (I know it makes it more realistic...but if a player has a Strong weapon, and it breaks...Trust me he wont like it).

Oh i forgot to say that i think that the durability should be able to go up by just giving the weapon a rest,like stop killing for a few mins and the dura goes back to 100%

I disagree with you guys. Durability is a good idea. It's realistic and perhaps some won't like it but still, they need to take care of their weapons.
Idea 4: I am not so sure I personally like this idea, Kiba has a pet but that's because of his clan. I think to have a pet you have to be from the Inuzuka clan (for the dog anywho).
Idea 3: Not a good idea to let people create and upload their own items, weapons, clothing, etc. I do like the store idea. I don't think they should get paid by the hour though, and if they do, they only get a commission of what they sell.
As for the other ideas I don't mind them and I think they could be talked about some more ^^;.

Tesengu I must agree with durability bit i do not agree with durability reaching 0% meening absolute distruction i think the maximum durability lost will result inmaking the weapon unusable until you bring it to a proper shop to be repaired and if you wish to jmake the nin world suffer and make it more realistic it should take time for it to be repaired judgeing on damage therefore resulting in the nin to improve and not relyin onf the weapon
As for summonings idea read the previous posts and add to it it is nessasary to get all ideas in (p.s this isnt Pokémon)
as for weapons ya maybe starting with 2 kuni or 4 shurikein might be proper but i believe posted in another topic we have discussed weapons training and how you can imporve on the weapons of your choice by training with them. Sorry you cant just pick up a giant shurikain and start throwing it with deadly accuracy your going to have to train (Realisticly)

Perhaps a time limit on the weapons repair, say like depending on how strong it is and how far the durability is down. It could be like 20 minutes and then you can go do something and then come back and the repair dude would have your weapon ready for you.

i agree or maybe you could do the rapairs your self like if its a sword you would have to buy a sharpening stone as such and other items cause if your miles away and your swords like on 1% durability your screwed lol your gunna go home in tears and with bruised knuckles lol

SPOILER: all those ideas were from the game called EudemonsOnline all ideas excepft for mastering certain types of weapons we copied from Eudemons online, just giving the fact, so dont bite my head off
