I would love you to make a loading screen conradxu, you wanted an admin to ask, so I figured as one of the developers I kind of fall into that category lol. So I would be more than happy if you would do that ^^;.

conradxu that would be nice. Although for now we just need a simple but stylized set of screens; it'd be nice if the game had its own UI style (I think Rave is talking with some designers about the in-game HUD) and none of the scroll graphics / red and green everywhere

Also it's worth noting that the game will be a generic ninja game (named Sound of Stone for now).

Personally I don't know if we should really be doing loading screens RIGHT now seeing as we don't know if we can legally do the game or what we want on the loading screen.

well, if the game is based on the naruto (manga or anime) then ask kishimoto, as he is the founder, only he can give you permission, having pictures on your game that are naruto doesnt mean its illegal.

THIS GAME WILL BE LEGAL ASLONG AS KISHIMOTO GIVES PERMISSION TO DO SO (well i expect that it is) so there shouldnt be any problem if we use naruto in the loading screens

but i recommend you tell kisimoto so you wont get sued, but then again he would want money in return.
but im not sure, ask a game developer for opinions, or a lawyer

Yeah so for now please refrain from using copyrighted images [including obvious fanart of copyrighted Naruto characters]. It shouldn't be too long before we have coloured concept art pieces that are based on generic ninja characters for the game

well, to make it easier for you.

i want to take screenshots of landscapes and characters in there. for this i would need permission from u guy to temporarily give me ultra cool looking equipment that suits the character and environment.

then i will modify the environment a bit or add new stocks.

if this cant be done, then i just use a screen shot of a character from the game, with equipment that i ask to be on and ill make flashy stuff out of it with lines and abstract styles.

i can also ask friends to help, but it depends if they will be bothered
