Training weights Empty Training weights

Heres an idea that just popped in my head.

What if you could by training weights for your arms or legs, and they help to increase your Taijutsu abilites, strenght and speed.

It would work like this, you go to a store and buy some, there could be many different level for differet prices, say you by the cheap ones. and the cheap ones, will decrease your stats by 20%, but when your done training with them it will increase your stats by 30%
example of how the % would work. Say your strenght is 10. you put the weights on your arms, and your strengh will decrease 20% which now means you have 8 strenght. after your done training with them you'll gain 30% of your original. so you have 10 plus 30 % so you would become 13 strenght.

Now besides just doing regular training, when you have your weights equipped (which you can wear them during battle) the weights have an experience meter that is linked with your regular experience bar that you have when you level up. As you gain exp, the weights gain exp. then when the weights exp meter is full, is when you see your results! (but when you use your taijutsu if you use ninjutsu the weights gain nothing)

but if your a high level, then it would take longer for the exp gauge to fill. I mean there are different level weights for the level you are. and maybe there could be a restraint on it for only every ten lvls you can use it. And we can change the rate of increase at the higher levels too.

I thought this over alittle bit and came up with this. Their could be afew ways like wearing them decreases how fast you can attack/jutsu's/skills but you gain 2x the rate of the skill your using. Now theirs no benifit to this by itself but you could use them to gain exp or such from lower lvl enemies that normally wouldnt give exp. Thats one of the ways they could be used.

Another way is where they act like a exp% modifier where they only slow you down by about 20% but give you 200% exp boost but will drain your stamina twice as fast. Now this way acts to no benifit either by itself because you may gain the exp twice as fast, but you'll have to take time to recover the stamina draining so quickly from you. This could be countered where you have to condition your body's stamina somehow injunction with your training.

The way to benifit from type 2. Train your endurance up so the amount of time training can exceed the amount of time resting from using weights. That way if you do them together right you could get like a 25% exp+ bonus to using weights. A player that could balance this in a time efficient way would lvl up the quickest.

Okay, weights would increase strength while equipped but decrease speed at the same time. This effect on stats, caused only be the currently equipped items, is called stacking.

Say you equip an armour with +20 max hp, and a sword with +5 strength. That's stacking because they're not your base stats but you still get them for the time that you wear the items.

You'd get increased exp in speed while wearing the weights, but decreased strenth stats development. And then different weights could affect other stats too maybe, rather than just affect it more.

I don't think it's very fair to give extra exp just for wearing an item, but we could make it so the pattern of your character's development gets shifted. Basically you just get more exp for one stat and equally less for another, while training. Fighting with weights will of course affect your current stats the same, so it's up to you when to wear them, and it's still fair.

So it depends on what kind of character you want to make; if you want to be faster in taijutsu then use weights. Smile

I think speed should increase since in the anime Rock Lee takes off the weights and does some a** kicking at insaine speeds. Honestly i think it should increase endurance because Sasuke could keep up to his speed but at the cost of using a lot a chakra. Rock Lee even states Sasuke doesn't have the endurance to keep using his insane speeds for too long. The weight packs have given Rock Lee the endurance to maintain his speed because of his extensive training. It was to the point where the weight packs gave him the ability to open the Lotus Gates. There is also the fact in the 3rd naruto movie

I think weights are a good idea. Though I think when wearing weights it should make you stronger, but also as you move more and more... make you faster. Then you'll have to move up in wait to get faster. So it would increase your strength, and your speed. When you take off the weights though, it should make your speed go up x1.5 and your strength down x0.5 . So when you have the weights on, you hit harder but you're slower, but after training with the weights and taking them off, you don't hit as hard but you're faster, so you get more hits in. Of course... you're stronger when you take them off... than you were before you put them on lol. ^^;
